Security and privacy
We are reviewing and improving the security of Tao Climate Platform. This page describes our approach and the status of our assurance work.
Access and secure connections
The platform uses HTTPS to protect connections. Staff access to the climate platform is protected by Google Identity-Aware Proxy. Account and project services use server-side access checks. Access permissions and recovery arrangements are part of our ongoing security review.
Your information
Our privacy notice explains how we use personal information, your rights and how to contact us. Our cookies and browser storage notice explains the browser storage used by the platform.
Standards and assurance
Security controls, vulnerability checks and operational procedures are under review. We do not currently claim independent security certification or comprehensive compliance verification. Specific compliance claims will be published only when supported by completed assessments and evidence.
Carbon accounting methodology and regulatory alignment are described separately in our carbon data and methodology statement. Methodology alignment does not itself certify the platform's cybersecurity.
Report a security concern
Contact support@taoclimate.com with the affected page and a short description. Please do not include passwords, access tokens or other people's personal information. We can agree a suitable channel for sensitive evidence.
